the circus. always Rambo. or Gemini. or Venus. skinny lions. protesting monkeys. barking dogs. all obedient. all scared. flying humans. flying without wings. the elephant. stooped in resignation. and then the clown. the absurdly happy clothes. a big red nose. and an upside down frown. silly was the way to make you laugh. i didn't laugh. lets go home. i've had enough.
